Job Description

Embark on your transformative journey of Service Management Framework Lead, you ll drive the commercialization of Wholesale Onboarding and Group Financial Crime Operations (WCOB GFCO) through the enhancement of E2E reporting focus, accuracy and ownership. Stronger business interlock by leveraging proactive data and insight based decision making.

To be successful as a Service Management Framework Lead, you should have

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills gained in a professional environment.

  • Proven track record in Financial Services

  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with senior stakeholders.

  • High degree of knowledge of the operations and technology environment.

  • An awareness of current market issues and industry developments .

  • Significant experience in a Data Analysis, Insights or Operational Excellence and visualizing applications - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Developer skills in Tableau, MS Power BI, QlikView or similar dashboard applications would be a distinct advantage.

  • Experience in working with operational data, connecting the dots and generating meaningful insights.

  • Resource planning, forecasting, capacity planning and workforce management experience would be advantageous.

  • Financial planning, budget planning, MTP experience.

  • Experience identifying and translating business unit issues into questions that can be answered using data.

  • Knowledge of Barclays Service Management Framework and governance, Service appendices and IGA s.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role is for Noida Location

Purpose of the role

To manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives and compliance with relevant regulators.

Accountabilities

  • Identification of trends and opportunities to improve areas and develop new process and procedures through the monitoring and analysis of operation data and performance metrices.
  • Management of operations for a business area and promote efficient processes, risk management and compliance initiatives to support the banks operations.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders (including business leaders, project manager and SMEs) and external stakeholders (including vendors and service providers) to support business operations and promote alignment with the banks objectives and SLAs.
  • Management of operational professionals and provide guidance, coaching and support to improve colleagues delivery quality.
  • Management and development of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operation functions, utilising data and technology to support the identification of areas that require improvement.
  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer experience.
  • Creation of a safe environment for colleagues to speak up, actively and regularly encourage and solicit feedback to ensure people agenda remains focused on the right areas.
  • Management of attrition by working closely with HR in implementing retention initiatives for work force.

Vice President Expectations

  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes.
  • Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.
