Quality Analyst Lead ( Manual Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and testers responsible for the

development, execution, and reporting of software tests.

• Build and maintain a high-performing QA team by providing coaching, training, and career

development opportunities.

• Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance reviews for

team members.

• Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of quality software and optimal team

productivity.

• Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with product management, development,

and customer support teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Quality Assurance Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and best practices for supply

chain solution software applications.

• Oversee the creation of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression,

performance, and security testing.

• Ensure that automated and manual testing efforts are aligned with product requirements,

release schedules, and quality goals.

• Identify key quality metrics and regularly report on test progress, defect trends, and overall

product quality to senior management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure software requirements are well-defined and

understood, and that testing efforts are aligned with business goals.

• Work with product managers and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize test cases based

on risk and business impact.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and review meetings to ensure testing is aligned

with agile development cycles.

Test Automation & Tools Management:

• Lead the effort to implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and ensure their

integration with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and

effectiveness of the QA process.

• Ensure automated tests are scalable, reusable, and maintainable, with the goal of reducing

manual testing efforts.

Defect Management & Continuous Improvement:

• Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring defects are tracked, prioritized, and resolved in a timely

manner.

• Drive root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions to

improve software quality.

• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance product

quality, testing efficiency, and team effectiveness.

Customer & Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters and communicate status updates,

risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand customer feedback and requirements,

ensuring that software meets customer expectations and industry standards.

Skills that must have in the Ideal Candidate:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is

preferred.

• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide large

teams in fast-paced environments.

• Expertise in QA methodologies, including functional, regression, load, and performance testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools as well as CI/CD integration tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and

implement corrective actions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate testing progress, risks, and

issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Quality Center, etc.).
