Manager -Quality Control and Quality Assurance

Role & responsibilities

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the products are in compliance with quality parameters outlined in BLUAE & as well as by the customer. The key elements of this role include.

• Lead the quality function of BL UAE
• Set & Operate Quality Assurance systems for the company.
• Ensure that the company remains to be a qualified supplier.
• Address customer complaints.
• Implementation & Maintain statistical Quality Assurance Techniques
• Managing ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Managing FSSC22000.

This role is also responsible for maintaining QA systems to give confidence to suppliers on quality of the products. It is this role which ensures systems are periodically audited.

Preferred candidate profile

• Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additional post graduate qualification in the Product & Process QA is an added advantage.
• 12 to 15 years experience in Quality Assurance in manufacturing
• preferably in a Rigid Industrial Packaging such as Steel Drums, Plastic Containers & Tinplate Metal cans and Tinplate Printing.
• Quality Systems (ISO, Six Sigma etc. ), different testing methods,
• handling QA instruments, raw materials, printing process and statistical tools
