Job Description
ITS Analyst is a global customer-facing position for Global Application Operation Manufacturing Execution Systems. This role will be responsible for providing Systems Delivery and Operational Support to the teams in EMEA.
Key responsibilities include:
- Playing a part in the integration of the team with the overall function.
- Putting forward ideas on continuous improvement for the function.
- Designing MES systems solution, creating functional and technical specification definition for internal use and handover to 3rd party and vendors.
- Reviewing of functional and technical specifications, testing, preparation for UAT.
- Implementing of approved MES systems changes and enhancements.
- Identifying the preventive actions to keep the applications in operational condition and fixing root causes.
- Ensuring hand-off or escalation of tickets to line managers or to the relevant resolver group in a timely manner so as not to impact the target SLA s.
What are we looking for?
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in computer science, business administration or other relevant field required.
- Experience in a similar role, providing IT support relevant to manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of Database operation, MS SQL , C#, and general scripting.
- Work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to define development specifications, document known errors and solutions for bug fixes and development.
- Fluent English.
