Deputy Manager - Business Loans

This position entails a unique set of key duties and day-to-day tasks; would involve a relatively high degree of responsibility for the DC business and its stake holders

The jobholder will be expected to drive the Direct Channel reach its goals through efficiently and effectively utilizing its resources and personnel


This position demands to develop, evaluate, strategize, and put into operation measures to propel the DC business

This post demands to dialog and review current policies and processes with existing management personnel of different departments like Underwriting / Risk and Analytics


Business Process and Planning
o To coordinate with respective regional sales team on a daily basis to forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team


o Prompt objection handling and coordinating effectively with underwriting teams by involving Risk / Analytics to ensure that queries are effectively resolved


o To work closely with Sales Head to research and build new avenues that would act as independent channels for the DC business
o Ensuring daily commitments are met by interacting with sales team and help resolving day to day issues arising from system operations (SFDC)


o Work closely with operations to ensure that customer payments are timely disbursed and all customer related queries are promptly resolved


o To provide timely solutions to sales and credit teams with necessary approvals to ensure smooth functioning of daily approvals
o Ensuring that the risk policies are timely and accurately downloaded to sales team and adhered to strictly


Management and Research
o Ensure that the sales team efficiently updates and manages data in SDFC
o Daily tracking of all approved cases from login till disbursement
o Manage and execute highly confidential data points and ensure that data is correctly used without any leakage


o Impart training and educate sales team on usage of DC SFDC system to ensure smooth transition of file processing
o Responsible for entire life cycle of onboarding to exit for sales team (On Roll and Off Roll) Required Qualifications and Experience
o - Years of experience in sales and or business development the in financial services sector


o MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Sales or Marketing


o Driving, developing and implementing new initiatives and projects
Skills:
o Ability to make sound decisions and to communicate adequately with various interdepartmental personnel on a daily basis


o Ability to manage time and projects at the same time network with sales / credit and risk teams to ensure that daily / weekly/ monthly business volumes are met within appropriate timelines


o Ability to develop and maintain solid working relations with internal and external teams and ensure that issues are resolved creatively and in a timely manner
o Ability to be highly self-motivated and have excellent team management, communication and interpersonal skills
