Area Manager - Underwriting

Job Purpose
This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for credit appraisal and monitoring for the region.
- Implementation of Credit Policy and continuous evaluation to ensure adherence to the Policy and compliance with the Authority Matrix at branches in the region assigned.
- Analyzing the portfolio health and risk involved in particular segment of assets & profile and giving timely feedback to sales team.
- Ensuring portfolio quality is maintained at the highest standards and delinquency is under control.
- Building and leading a highly effective team.
- Striving for continuous improvement in productivity.
- Review and upgrade vendor service quality.
- Market Research and Feedback for credit policy and new product launch based on market conditions.
- Deliver on the goals of customer and employee satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Experience
CA/MBA Finance with 8 - 10 years of relevant experience.
Should have worked with reputed Bank/Financial Institution in Consumer Financing in Mortgage/SME business.
Must have handled multiple locations and teams.
