Delivery Manager Information Security

This profile is to manage the Security Operations, which involves owning SOC, Vulnerability Management Program and relatesd security controls. Operational Role involves vendor management, team management and stakeholder management, with an intent to improve BFL s Security Posture.
SIEM/Security Tools Management: Maintain and configure security monitoring tools, ensuring they are up to date and properly tuned to detect threats effectively.
o Incident Response: Assist in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts, following established incident response procedures.
o Documentation: Maintain detailed records of security incidents, actions taken, and their outcomes for reporting and compliance purposes.
o Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT and security teams to implement security measures and recommend improvements to security controls.
o Threat Intelligence: Stay updated on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and adjust the vulnerability management program accordingly.
o SOAR: Develop and implement automated playbooks for threat remediation.
o AV/EDR for Datacenter Servers
o Security of Network Devices
Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans on the organizations IT systems, networks, and applications using industry-standard tools.
o Risk Assessment: Evaluate the severity and potential impact of identified vulnerabilities and prioritize them based on risk and business impact.
o Documentation: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vulnerabilities, their details, and remediation status.
o Remediation Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders from IT/Business and security teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities. Track and report progress on remediation efforts.
Design Security Aspects to ensure smoothness of security operations.
Continuously explore new tools, approach etc. to improvise security posture and security operations.
Front-end Regulatory and other audits related to job role. Ensure timely closure of audit observations. Key Decisions / Dimensions
