Description As a CA Trainee in our Internal Audit Department, you will play a crucial role in helping our organization by assisting in the evaluation of internal controls, identifying risks, and providing recommendations for process improvements. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to gain practical experience in the field of Internal Audit and Risk while working closely with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in on-site audit fieldwork, including the testing of internal controls, identification of compliance issues, and the documentation of audit procedures.

• Visit to the branches/ warehouse of the organisation for audit of inventory, freight, procurement and sales.

• Surprise visits at warehouse for scrap sales/second sales and at distributors premises

• Mystery Shopping • Surprise perpetual inventory verification

• Follow up for updated RCMs and audit information from the process owners.

• Prepare clear and concise evidence, workpapers and audit reports to support findings and recommendations. Qualifications:

• Should have completed 18 months of articleship

• Strong analytical skills.

•Effective written and verbal communication skills. •Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

•Willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate with a diverse team.

•Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
