Key Accounts Manager - Modern Trade (Bangalore - Food Industry only)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the team to achieve channel sales target via Modern Trade growth strategies.
• Leading the engagement, establishing the relationship with MT customers and business partners [Reliance Retail, D-Mart, Spencers, Air Plaza (earlier Vishal Mega Mart ),Aditya Birla ( More ), Metro Cash & Carry, etc].
• Negotiating and closing deals at multiple levels (Vertical/ Horizontal) of Customer Organization and strengthening balance of power through strategic influence & leveraging brand muscles.
• Expertise in achieving revenue and business growth objectives in highly competitive environments.
• Good understanding of the Food industry with strong quantitative and conceptual abilities.
• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with proven abilities leading motivated teams towards achieving organizational goals.
• Managing business operations to ensure business in line with organizational objectives.
• Designing & implementing sales strategies for attainment of targets.
• Building relationship with client ensuring maximum client satisfaction for repeat and referral business.
• Mentoring, motivating and guiding teams ensuring sales/ business generation and achieving budgeted figures on a monthly basis.
• Training subordinates and building capability of the team and other aspects of sales.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-12 years of experience in FMCG (Food) industry, in Modern Trade channel.
  
• Strong understanding of food products and their applications in modern retail settings.
  
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport with customers at all levels.
  
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer base.
