Role Overview Description
Keychain is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development, with a strong emphasis on working with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. This role will involve designing and implementing scalable backend solutions that are integral to our product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development
• Design, develop and maintain robust and efficient backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build microservices architectures for various components of our applications.
• Integrate with databases and external services to enhance the product functionality.
• Code Optimization
• Perform code reviews and ensure the quality of code through rigorous testing practices.
• Optimize performance of existing systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and design new features.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
• Documentation
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system configurations.
• Share knowledge with peers and help onboard new team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.
• Good to have: Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and the principles of web application development.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.

Work Environment
This position operates during standard business hours (11:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST) and offers a flexible working environment suitable for remote work.
