Job Title: Accountant

Reports to: Finance Manager/Financial Controller

Location: NSP Delhi

Job Summary:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. As an Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. If you have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and experience with accounting software, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

- Conduct account reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting tasks as needed.

- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, bankers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (e.g., Finance, Business Administration).

- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry.

- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CA) or in progress.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Office.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with financial planning and analysis.

- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems.

- Certification in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Certified User).
