We are seeking a passionate and results-driven GIS Sales Specialist to join our team.
The role involves driving direct sales, developing strategic business opportunities, and fostering relationships with government bodies, PSUs, and funding agencies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Direct Sales & Business Development:
- Drive direct sales and maintain relationships with existing clients to achieve sales targets.
- Develop new business opportunities in the geospatial market across the Indian subcontinent.
- Create and execute Go-to-Market strategies for targeted accounts.
- Government & PSU Engagements
- Build strong relationships with government bodies, PSUs, and funding agencies.
- Represent the company at external forums, conferences, and panels to enhance industry presence.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand market share and revenue.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to position GIS solutions effectively.
- Provide actionable market feedback to executive management to identify growth opportunities.
Pipeline & Sales Process Management
- Maintain a qualified sales pipeline with high conversion potential.
- Oversee the complete sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring effective client engagement.
Relationship Management
- Build strong rapport with clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify strategic alliances and partnerships to enhance GIS solution deployments.
- Engage with CXO-level executives to present the company's portfolio of offerings.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Use sales tracking tools to document activities and generate pipeline visibility reports.
- Prepare rolling forecasts and budgets for revenue, profitability, and order intake.
Skills and Qualifications Required
Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Geospatial Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in domestic sales, specifically in selling geospatial services to government bodies, PSUs, and funding agencies.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales revenue targets and closing complex deals.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the GIS industry, market trends, and opportunities.
- Expertise in creating proposals and commercial models.
- Exceptional networking and business development skills, especially with executive leadership relationships.
- Excellent sales negotiation skills and ability to manage pursuit strategies targeting senior executives.
