Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and manual testing for both

UI and backend APIs. Proficiency in debugging and a decent understanding of Linux are

essential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Ability to write automation test suite for the features (UI or Rest APIs)
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and resolve issues.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across various environments.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in manual testing.
• Knowledge of Java and OOPS programmingKnowledge of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Strong debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of tools like JUnit, Mockito, JMeter, Karate (the BDD test framework they use
• in OEMI).
