Operator - Band Saw

Role & responsibilities

• Set up band saw machines based on job orders, material specifications, and cutting requirements
• Adjust machine settings such as blade tension, feed rate, and coolant flow to optimize cutting performance
• Load and unload materials onto the band saw machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning
• Operate band saw machines to cut materials into specified dimensions and shapes
• Inspect cut materials for accuracy, quality, and adherence to dimensional tolerances using measuring tools (tape measure, callipers)

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a band saw operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of band saw machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting specifications.
