Fund Settlement- Operations

Position Overview:

This role plays a crucial role in managing various aspects of brokerage operations, with a focus on account opening and settlement processes. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and compliant operations.

Role & responsibilities:

a. Account Opening

• Facilitate the account opening process for new clients, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified.
• Ensure correct data opening process in alignment with KRA/CKYC
• Digital Scrutiny of the accounting opening forms
• Demat Account opening processes in alignment with regulatory requirement
• Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide support and guidance to clients during the account opening phase.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding account-related inquiries.
• Assist clients with navigating trading platforms and understanding settlement procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction

b. Transaction Processing

• Execute the Broking settlement processes for Financial transactions
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in recording settlement with in established timelines
• Trade settlement with respect to equity,commodities,currency,F&O segment
• Securities and Funds reconciliation as per settlement processes
• Obligation reconciliation in case of any mis-match in funds settlement transactions
• Exchange control reconciliation
• Collaborate with relevant teams to obtain necessary transaction details
• Following Payout Process through Bank transfer module
• Bill desk reconciliation with multi payment gateways systems/Merchants
• Preparing daily settlement reports and gaps in Journal entry between books and Balance sheet

c. Documentation and compliance

• Maintain comprehensive documentation on daily accounting processes and financial transactions
• Maintaining Audit observations in detailed manner and close the Audit points along with Root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Broking or related fields

• Proven Experience in broking operations, Including account opening and settlement processes

• Minimum 1 or 2 year experience in Accounting systems (Broking accounting will be an additional advantage)

• Ready to work in the shift

• NISM-VII certification
