We re looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a knack for analytics to research and analyse the performance and reports of various companies across different industries and report the information and findings.
What you will Do

Derive quantitative information by making models that assist the fund management team in making investment decisions

Assist in improving research quality and make buy/ sell recommendations to the fund management team

Prepare brief analysis reports on individual companies, the sector, and on industry sub-groups by collecting information from independent sources of information and contacts

Maintain an extensive coverage list and respond timely to breaking news developments on companies throughout the assigned sector(s)
What makes you a Great Fit

Good Understanding of financial market and investment products

Knowledge about financial statement analysis, understanding of company s fundamentals in terms of nature of its business, growth dynamics, cost structure, and competitive positioning

Good understanding of industry structure, its growth & profitability drivers, competitiveness levels and linkages to GDP movements.

Knowledge of investment appraisal, valuation techniques and theories about portfolio management

Ability to read and absorb acknowledged research papers and testing their assertions / findings using quantitative models.

Proficient in financial, mathematical, and statistical techniques

Excellent advanced excel-based modelling skills
