Job Location: Malad, Mumbai (WFO) Role Overview
As an IoT Device Tester, you will be responsible for testing and validating our IoT products to ensure seamless integration, optimal performance, and robust security for smart homes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, debug firmware, and enhance user experiences. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for IoT devices tailored for smart home environments.
Perform functional, integration, performance, and security testing on IoT hardware and software.
Debug and analyze firmware issues using C programming and other diagnostic tools.
Test device connectivity and communication protocols (e.g., Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, BLE).
Simulate real-world smart home scenarios to identify edge cases and potential failures.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to resolve bugs and improve product reliability.
Ensure compliance with industry standards for smart home devices and IoT security.
Automate testing processes and improve testing frameworks. Must-Have Skills
4+ years of experience in IoT or embedded device testing.
Proficiency in C programming for firmware debugging and analysis.
Strong understanding of IoT communication protocols (e.g., Zigbee, Z-Wave, MQTT, BLE, Wi-Fi).
Hands-on experience with test tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.
Knowledge of IoT device security principles and testing methods.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication for documenting and reporting test results. .
