Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented API Tester with 5+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in API Automation testing using Postman, a strong understanding of SQL, and the ability to write detailed and comprehensive test cases. Additional experience with manual mobile app testing and knowledge of finance, payment, or banking domains will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases covering functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Proven experience in API automation using Postman or Bruno.
• Validate API responses, status codes, and functionalities based on business requirements.
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools like BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test scenarios.
• Document test cases, defects, and test outcomes, ensuring clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide insights into domain-specific scenarios for finance, payment, or banking applications.

Mandatory Skills

• Testing Experience: 5+ years in software testing.
• API Automation Testing: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Postman or Bruno.
• SQL: At least 2 years of experience in writing and executing queries.
• Test Case Writing: Proven ability to design and document comprehensive test cases covering different test types.
