Experience: 15-18 years in a senior content and editorial leadership role in digital news media organisation.

Job Description:

- Strategy for text and video content for Asianet News Website and video platforms.

- Strategy for Asianet- News social media platforms.

- Content strategy for News and original content.

- Community building and user engagement programs.

- Reach , engagement and concurrency building on video platforms.

- Platform ranking management , content hygiene and performance management .

- Network building with key personalities in news space across languages , regions and categories.

- Content creators management.

- Relationship management with news partnership teams at Google, Youtube, Meta , Jio and other distribution and news aggregators .

- News IP creation and execution management.

- News- and original content production management .

- Relationship management with news agencies such as PTI, ANI , Reuters , APTN , AFP etc .

- Internal and external stakeholders management.

Experience:

- 15-18 years in a senior content and editorial leadership role in digital news media organisation

- Should have- handled a large editorial teams comprised of beat leads, desk leads , languages editors, input and output desks , graphic design teams .

- Should have handled video desks across languages and platforms.

- Should have managed relationships with news partnership teams in big techs and aggregators.

- Understanding of SEO guidelines and content performance strategies.

- Should have led content IPs and editorial programs in past .

- Should have a strong network of influential personalities in news space across languages .

Must have's:

- Impeccable Command over English , Malayalam and Kannada .

- Knowledge of other South Indian languages will be an added advantage.

- Strong social media and language model strategies.

Education:

- PG in mass communication/ Journalism.

- It would be better to have continued record of certifications new age media programs by google , meta etc .
