Job Title: Head of Operations (Retail Pharma)
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Operations Manager to lead and oversee our retail operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and building high-performing teams.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop, implement, and monitor business strategies to maximize retail profitability.
- Align regional operations with organizational goals and financial objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities through market analysis and competitor benchmarking.
Retail Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple retail formats, including standalone stores, EBOs, and SIS.
- Drive profitability through efficient stock management, pricing strategies, and shrinkage control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational guidelines, and statutory requirements.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor regional teams, including Area Managers, Store Managers, and associates.
- Set performance objectives and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Recruit, train, and develop talent to build a motivated and high-performing team.
Sales & Business Development:
- Plan and execute regional marketing and promotional activities to boost sales.
- Manage customer relationship programs to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for co-branding and business development initiatives.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring cost optimization and profitability.
- Review financial statements and performance reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely collections and manage vendor and client accounts.
Store Expansion & New Initiatives:
- Identify and evaluate new store locations to meet ROI expectations.
- Plan and oversee store launches, ensuring operational readiness and success.
- Introduce innovative product lines and services based on market trends and customer needs.
Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular reviews with teams to ensure alignment with targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and Science (B.Sc.)
- Extensive experience across leading retail and pharmaceutical organizations.

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma), or an MBA in Retail Management or Business Administration.
- 15+ years of experience in Pharma retail, with proven expertise in P&L management, category management, and NSO management.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing large teams and multi-regional operations.
