Hiring for Retail Head role with a leading Ice cream Brand.
Strategic Business Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets, increase profitability, and ensure the long-term success of the retail business.
- Define retail strategies, priorities and business planning processes aligned with company objectives.
Franchise Relations:
- Act as a liaison between the company and franchisees to ensure that franchisees receive the necessary support and resources.
- Implement and monitor compliance with franchise agreements and standards.
- Facilitate communication and maintain strong relationships with franchise owners.
Financial Management:
- Develop and implement annual business budgets and manage expenses to ensure profitability without compromising on quality or service standards.
- Analyze financial reports to ensure the store operates within budgetary constraints and achieves financial targets.
Operational Management:
- Implement and maintain retail operational policies and procedures to incorporate a sales plan, cost control and people management.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail store, including inventory management, merchandising, customer service and store maintenance.
- Manage operations in close coordination with Area Managers, diligently monitoring store Key Performance Indicators.
- Oversee the visual merchandising of the retail space to enhance the customer experience.
Sales and Marketing:
- Create and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive traffic to the store, increase sales and enhance the brand's visibility and reputation.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and take proactive measures to address any deviations.
- Review sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
Vendor Management:
- Effectively negotiate commercial terms with Licensors, finalize agreements and implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability.
- Manage inventory levels effectively to minimize stock shortages and overages while implementing inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy.
People Management:
- Supervise retail staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance and operations to optimize overall business performance.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Analyze market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Identify current and future requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers or other people in a position to understand service requirements, creating a customer focused culture.
Compliance and Regulatory Management:
- Ensure the stores comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to safety and employment.
