Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium (7-8 yrs)

We are currently looking to hire a Automation Test Engineer (Java, Selenium, API Testing). This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skill set, achieve job satisfaction and work-life balance.

Location : India(remote).

Contract : 12 months, extendable.

Experience : 7+ years. Shift Timings : 9 am to 6 pm IST (remote).

Primary Skills/Requirements :

- Developing and executing automation scripts on Both Frontend and Backend for Web Application using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Rest Assured.

- Enhancing and maintaining automated Continuous Integration (CI) flows. Modify, enhance, or fix existing frameworks to accommodate API testing or UI testing requirements.

- Perform testing activities, including planning, designing, scripting, debugging, and reporting tasks.

- Collaborate with Development and Business teams to define the scope of testing required and handle post-test execution activities such as error debugging, reporting, and internal and external communications.

- Write test plans and test traceability matrices using tools such as ADO Azure Board.

- Working experience with Apache JMeter to run performance tests is a plus.

- Hands on experience on GITHUB, ADO AZURE Board.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in automation testing.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming.

- Extensive experience with Selenium for UI automation.

- Proven experience with Cucumber for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing.

- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.

- Ability to write and maintain test plans and test traceability matrices using tools like ADO Azure Boards.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Hands on experience with GITHUB.

- Hands on experience with ADO AZURE Board.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Apache JMeter for performance testing.

- Knowledge of other automation tools and frameworks.

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
