SAP CO Consultant - E2E Implementation (8-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and contribute to End-to-End SAP CO implementation for at least 2 cycles.

- Provide expert guidance on Cost Centre Assessment Cycles, COPA assessment cycles, and the allocation/distribution of costs.

- Setup and configure Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, and Account-based COPA.

- Utilize deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA 2020 to design, configure, and implement CO-related solutions.

- Support integration with various SAP modules like FI, MM, and SD, ensuring seamless flow of financial and cost data.

- Lead month-end closing activities and ensure accurate reconciliation of FI and CO accounting at all levels, up to COPA drill-down reporting.

- Analyze variance reports and carry out settlement processes to resolve discrepancies.

- Configure and maintain COPA setup including planning and budgeting.

- Enable users to compare actual performance against planned figures in Profitability Planning and Cost Centre Planning.

- Build Profitability Reporting with multi-dimensional analysis such as customer, product, region, or sales organization.

- Design and implement cost and revenue allocations, enabling the distribution of indirect costs and revenues to relevant profit centers.

- Implement Assessment Rule definitions and settlement processes to ensure smooth allocation.

- Work with COPA Report Painter (Generator) to create custom reports for profitability analysis.

- Build detailed reports to provide a comprehensive view of profitability drivers across multiple dimensions.

- Calculate the cost of goods sold (COGS) based on material ledger cost component split, providing a more accurate view of profitability.

Skills & Experience :

Experience :

- Minimum 8+ years of experience working as an SAP CO Consultant.

- At least 2 full-cycle implementations in SAP CO (Costing and Profitability Analysis).

- Strong experience working with SAP S/4HANA 2020 version.

- Deep understanding of Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing (Process Costing), and Material Ledger.

- Expertise in Account-based COPA, Variance Analysis, Settlement, and COPA Planning.

- Hands-on experience with COPA Report Painter/Generator and multi-dimensional profitability reporting.

- Strong knowledge of SAP FI-MM-SD integration and its impact on CO processes.

- Ability to reconcile and fix FI and CO accounting mismatches at all levels (up to COPA).

- Expertise in cost and revenue allocations across profit centers.
