Substation Designers

Experience: 1-3 years in preparation of drawings for sub-stations from 33kV to 400kV level.

Qualification: Diploma / BE - Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Job Summary:

Avant-Garde Engineers, Designers and Consultants is seeking skilled Substation Designers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in preparing drawings for substations ranging from 33kV to 400kV. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and design practices related to substation design.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed design drawings for electrical substations, including layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other designers to develop efficient and cost-effective substation designs.
• Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create accurate and detailed drawings.
• Review and check drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage project documentation and maintain design records.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree (BE) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in preparing drawings for sub-stations from 33kV to 400kV level.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and design practices.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
