Job Description
Proven work experience as Linux Administrator
In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and associated utilities.
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with security best practices, system hardening and patching.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Salt, Ansible)
Experience of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms - AWS. Able to manage 500+ VMs.
Experience in Disaster Recovery management Experience in driving continuous improvement for repetitive issue
Troubleshooting issues on Linux environment, Network
Linux Admin - Authentication, Reverse Proxy, DNS, Mailing
Network - Routage & Segmentation, Different protocol
Virtualization - VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes
Security
OpenSSl, fail2ban, OpenPGP
Firewall
Patching / Hardening
Monitoring - Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
Tools - GIT, Jenkins, Bitbucket / Gitlab
Configuration management tool : Saltstack (prefered) or an equivalent tool like Ansible, puppet or chef
