Platform Engineer

We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us build and maintain robust, scalable platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain platform services using Go (Golang).
• Implement and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Utilize Helm and Helmfile for package management and deployment automation.
• Develop and maintain CLI tools for deployment orchestration on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Go code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of Go-based microservices and applications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure high-quality Go code.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across the platform.
• Document platform architecture, processes, and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with Helm and Helmfile for managing Kubernetes applications.
• Experience in developing CLI tools for deployment orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools(e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
