Finance Officer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a finance professional specializing in MIS & Financial Reporting to join our finance team. The role involves managing financial reporting, MIS preparation and management dashboards to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of consolidation and preparation of financial statements as per Ind-AS and MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Book Closure: Manage quarterly and year-end financial statements, including P&L, GL, balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, and monthly financial closure activities.
• Audit & Compliance: Support statutory and internal audits, regulatory filings, and ensure Ind-AS and tax compliance in collaboration with auditors.
• MIS: Prepare and analyze MIS reports and business performance metrics to provide financial insights.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Conduct variance analysis against budget and Annual Operating Plan to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial results, identify discrepancies or trends, and drive process enhancements, automation, and reporting efficiency.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks
• Work closely with internal teams and leadership, providing financial insights, dashboards, and reports to aid decision-making.
• Implement new review checks and control mechanisms to align with regulatory changes, system upgrades, and process improvements.
• Design, build and monitor executive dashboards and reports.
• Good understanding in direct & indirect taxation towards financial closure.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualification: CA, CWA, or ACCA
• Experience: 14 years in financial reporting and MIS preparation
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive mindset, positive attitude and willingness to learn
