Job description -

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Hands on experience in maintaining Accounts, General ledger, AP processing, TDS workings & payments, GST workings and filings, E-invoicing, accounting software like Tally or Zoho
  • The individual needs to interact with other departments, maintain confidentiality and needs to have a willingness to grow. • Maintain daily transactions of Purchase and Sales invoices, Payments & Receipts transactions• Reconcile transactions and GL
  • Generate and send the E-invoices to customers on transaction made monthly export invoices
  • Maintain the bank voucher with supporting document after the bank transaction is completed.
  • Preparing the TDS workings sheet on monthly and quarterly basis and cross verify with books of
  accounts. Thus, Ensure timely and accurate calculation, deduction, and payment of TDS according
  to applicable rates and regulations.
  • Prepare and review journal entries to accurately record financial transactions.
  • Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and other applicable returns,
  within the specified deadlines. Reconcile GST-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Review and reconcile purchase invoices and ensure proper claiming of ITC as per GST regulations.
  Maintain records of ITC availed and its utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings, such as optimizing ITC utilization, and provide
  recommendations to management for effective tax planning.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including adjusting entries and account
  reconciliations
