Job Description for Pega Automation Tester

Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Strategy: Develop and implement test automation strategies using Pega Platform capabilities and industry-standard tools.
• Automation Framework: Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Test Development: Create and execute automated test scripts using PegaUnit, Pega Scenario testing, and other tools like JUnit, SoapUI1.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and quick feedback.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.
• Reporting: Generate test reports and metrics to track the quality and performance of the application.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in test automation, preferably with Pega applications.
• Tools: Proficiency with PegaUnit, Pega Scenario testing, JUnit, SoapUI, and other automation tools2.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Pega Platform and its testing frameworks.
• Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
