Role Description:- Lead Automation Tester

Responsibilities & Functions

• Understand applications and create test scenarios and test data
• Create/Update Automation test scripts (Selenium-Java)
• Test API and automate the scripts
• Able to understand pipeline creation.
• Able to work on YML creation and maintenance.
• Collect and create Test data for functional as well as non-functional requirements.
• Execute Functional/non-Functional tests during the SDLC and co-ordinate with developers.
• Assist in implementation of overall test strategy.
• Able to perform Load testing.
• Able to perform performance testing.
• Able to perform compatibility testing.
• Handle team of 5-10

Required Mandatory Skills

1. Awareness of Testing frameworks Manual/Automation both
2. Test API and Automate API
3. Well versed with Java scripting for Selenium
4. Good understanding of implementation of automation testing across industry
5. Strong understanding of Selenium web driver
6. Strong base in data testing across the applications
7. Test Planning and management
8. Team management
9. Performance and Load Testing hands on with any tool
10. Compatibility testing is mandatory.
11. Able to understand pipeline for ADO/AWS. Able to handle YML files.
12. Good understanding of SQL

Preferred Skills

1. Web services testing
2. Understanding BDD would be an added advantage.
3. Performance and load testing is preferred.
4. ADO/AWS cloud knowledge

• Strong Team management skills.
• Should be able to identify Risks and highlight when required
