Test Automation Engineer

This position requires a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test Framework to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in designing our testing framework, improving test coverage, and driving best practices in test automation.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements :

- Must Have 6-9 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.

- Proven experience in automation testing, with a strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.

- Strong Experience in using Advanced Python (OOPs, multithreading, exception handling etc.

- Framework Designing using OOPs techniques, python) Understanding of software development principles and best practices is must have.

- Experience with Mobile automation using Appium for Android platform is must have.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for integrating automated tests.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Exp with OCR, image processing techniques, automating multilingual features is highly desriable Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in software applications.

- Ability to think critically about software quality and assess risk.

- Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools (i.e., JMeter, Gatling) for load testing applications.

- Proficient in testing RESTful and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, Requests, or Pytest.

Test Planning :

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data requirements in accordance with functional specifications.

- Defect Tracking : Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Performance Testing : Participate in performance and load testing activities to assess application behavior under various conditions.

Documentation :

- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of testing processes, Test cases, Test results, and improvements.

Good to have :

- Experience with change management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA, GitLab.

- Familiar with Agile development methodologies.

- Prior experience in medical domain adds more value.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.

- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other QA team members.
