Role & responsibilities

• Architecture Design:
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Develop cloud strategies and roadmaps in alignment with business goals.
• Ensure cloud architecture meets regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Cloud Management:
• Oversee the management of cloud resources to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Conduct regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and compliance measures.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Work closely with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful cloud adoption.
• Performance Optimization:
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and performance.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of the cloud environment.
• Innovation:
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in cloud infrastructure.
• Mentorship:
• Provide technical mentorship and training to team members on cloud best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Mandatory Skills

• Cloud Platforms:
• Extensive experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficiency in cloud services including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
• Architecture Design:
• Proven expertise in designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Security:
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Experience in conducting security assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Networking:
• Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts such as VPC, VPN, load balancing, DNS, and CDN.
• Proficiency in designing and managing complex network architectures.
• Development:
• Proficiency in cloud-native development and API management.
• Experience in application lifecycle management and DevOps integration.
• Database Management:
• Strong knowledge of cloud databases (RDS, NoSQL, data lakes).
• Ability to design scalable and high-performance data solutions.
• Automation:
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Proficiency in automating cloud resource provisioning and management.

Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills

• DevOps Practices:
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience in integrating DevOps tools and methodologies within the cloud environment.
• MLOps:
• Knowledge of machine learning operations and the integration of ML models into cloud environments.
• Understanding of ML lifecycle management and automated ML workflows.
• Cost Optimization:
• Experience in optimizing cloud resource utilization and cost management.
• Ability to implement cost-effective cloud solutions without compromising performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 13 years of experience in cloud computing and architecture design.
• Certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
