React.js Developer - Next.js/Node.js (4-6 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior React.js Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining modern, responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.

You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, code, and manage automated test scripts for front-end applications.

- Create modern and responsive layouts based on designs and messaging provided by the creative team.

- Develop new features, enhance existing features, and implement bug fixes for React.js and Next.js applications.

- Utilize Next.js for server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) to enhance performance and SEO.

- Optimize front-end performance for speed and efficiency.

- Perform usability testing and assessment for projects, as well as ad hoc usability evaluations.

- Assist in the design and development of Software Solutions using Node.js frameworks.

- Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Node.js.

- Integrate front-end applications with back-end services.

- Utilize an understanding of the full software life cycle and strong knowledge in Design Methodology UML.

- Perform coding to written technical specifications.

- Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.

- Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.

- Assist in the support and growth of development platform(s).

- Self-document development processes, conduct peer reviews, and give actionable feedback.

- Interact with clients to identify their needs and define project objectives.

- Interact with test/quality assurance engineers to reproduce defects and provide fixes as needed.

- Participate in client calls for status updates and update the same to the junior team members for rapid delivery.

- Support business development activities.

- Develop applications based on customer requirements and industry standards, specifically within the e-commerce domain if applicable.

- Research standard extensions/solutions for common business applications, particularly related to e-commerce.

- Must understand the Commerce quality process and apply the same while executing tasks.

- Ensuring customer satisfaction as a priority.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- Extensive experience with JavaScript, React.js, Nextjs, and Node.js.

- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.

- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks.

- Experience with UML design methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
