Job Summary:
We are looking for innovative, self-driven, outgoing people with a mind geared towards business, tech development, and high-end customer care. We re looking to bring on an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to our growing Finance team.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable and payable data.
Process expense reports. Verify and investigate any discrepancies.
Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.
Facilitate payment of vendor invoices and respond to vendor requests.
Understand expense accounts including invoice management, payments review, prepayments, employee reimbursements, and credit card expenses management.
Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc)
Requirements:
5 to 10 years of Staff Accountant experience
Education: UG - B. Com, PG - M. Com, MBA Finance preferred.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures, and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets, accounting software, and payroll systems
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP
Strict adherence to confidentiality regulations and ethical standards
Software Knowledge:
Required: Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Salesforce
Experience using expense reporting software (e.g. Concur)
