Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized & proactive professional to join the Executive Director's (ED's) Office as a "Chief of Staff". In this role, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership (management) team, ensuring the efficient operation of the company and driving strategic initiatives. This position requires a proactive, highly organised, and versatile individual with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning and Support :
- Assist in long-term planning, annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct research, gather data, and provide analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Contribute to the development of strategic growth plans and market expansion strategies.
- Assist the Executive Director (ED) in developing and executing business plans, new project research & strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director (ED) to develop and execute business strategies, objectives and goals.
- Provide data-driven insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Communication and Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Foster collaboration and alignment across departments to promote a cohesive and high-performing organization.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events involving the executive team and other key stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the Executive Director (ED) and other department heads, ensuring effective communication and alignment across the organization and facilitate leadership meetings.
- Ensure seamless communication flow between the Management team and other departments.
- Prepare and deliver 'Executive-level' presentations, reports and updates.
Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for executive inquiries and prioritize issues for resolution.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at external events and engagements.
Project Management:
- Oversee and manage critical management projects and initiatives, ensuring their successful execution within timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to drive project progress and deliverables.
Operational Efficiency :
- Identify areas of improvement and implement operational enhancements to streamline processes, increase productivity, and optimize resource allocation.
- Implement best practices to optimize workflow and enhance operational effectiveness.
Required Qualification and Skills :
The preferred candidate should meet the following requirements/ eligibility criteria :
- Should be a Post-Graduate from a recognised college/university (Tier 1/2 MBA college)
- 3 to 5+ years of work-experience in a similar capacity/role.
- Prior experience in consulting, project management, business analysis, or related fields (internships or academic projects are a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Should be technology-savvy (mandatory) and have exceptional 'Organizational Skills and attention to detail' with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- A proactive approach to tasks, demonstrating a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
