Node Js Backend Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using NestJS (Node.js framework).
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for frontend and mobile applications.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of the application.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and ECS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members to build high-quality applications.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability.
• Monitor and optimize application performance and database efficiency.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness of the application.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) as an added advantage.
• Knowledge of GraphQL API development.
• Experience with Laravel PHP framework (nice to have).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
• Knowledge or experience in React(nice to have)
