Role Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of Industrial Automation projects across various sectors, with a strong focus on the Pharma industry. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong project management skills, and excellent customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and risk assessments.

- Conduct regular project status meetings with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.

- Proactively identify and resolve project issues and roadblocks.

- Manage project scope, ensuring all deliverables are met within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.

- Implement and manage change requests effectively.

- Ensure proper documentation and project closure procedures are followed.

Resource Management:

- Plan and allocate resources effectively to ensure project success and optimal resource utilization.

- Manage resource billability and ensure timely invoicing.

- Identify and develop key talent within the project team.

Customer Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

- Understand and address client needs and expectations.

- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Expertise:

- Deep understanding of Industrial Automation concepts and technologies.

- Experience with relevant technologies such as SCADA, PLC, DCS, HMI, MES/MOM, IIoT, and OPC.

- Strong technical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Financial Management:

- Track project costs and ensure they align with the budget.

- Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns.

Reporting:

- Provide regular updates to management on project progress, issues, and risks.

Support Management:

- Oversee post-implementation support activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science) or a related field.

- At least 8-10 years of experience in the field of Industrial Automation.

- Proven experience in managing complex projects within budget and timeline constraints.

- Strong experience working with Pharma industry clients is highly advantageous.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
