Infrastructure Engineer/Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Maintain organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
• Install, configure, and monitor system hardware, software, and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Manage and troubleshoot issues related to servers, operating systems, networks, and applications, promptly resolving them to minimize downtime.
• User Desktop Support.
• Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior system administrators and help desk personnel, assisting them in resolving complex issues.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Daily Checklist, reports.
• Maintain IT documentation for Audit
• Active Directory, WSUS, Antivirus and File Server Management.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge and Experience in Windows Server Management 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2019
• Knowledge and Experience in VMWare ESXi 6 above.
• Knowledge and Experience in Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
• Knowledge and Experience in Network Devices and LAN Management, Switches and Firewall
• Knowledge and Experience in Antivirus - McAfee and CrowdStrike and Backup Solutions - Commvault, Windows Backup tool
• Working knowledge on LAN network
