Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities:

Purchase Accounting:

• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate recording of purchases.
• Verify purchase orders, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Sales Accounting:

• Record and reconcile sales transactions in the accounting system.
• Monitor accounts receivable and maintain aging reports.

Bank Entries and Reconciliations:

• Record all bank-related transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow.

General Accounting Tasks:

• Maintain and update ledgers, ensuring proper classification of accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare necessary reports for Management.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Candidate should be a minimum commerce graduate.
• Candidate should have a minimum work experience of 1 to 2 years.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Tally ERP package & MS Excel.
• Candidate should have excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
