The Opportunity:

We, from the Payment space within Athena is redesigning our Payment experience moving towards a highly efficient, scalable and adaptable system that can potentially integrate with multiple Payment gateways and provide a holistic experience for our customers.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a SMTS to join our Engineering team within our Chennai division. You are a developer who is well versed in back end technologies and savy about building highly efficient large-scale applications.

You will work with other teams to ensure a coherent, forward looking product features. You will work with product owners and user experience designers to design and build solutions. Ultimately your work will focus on improving corporate performance, product performance and clinical outcomes.

Education, Experience, & Skills Required:

4-8 years of experience in an engineering role

Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot.

Experience in Cloud Devops preferably AWS

Exposure to relational database technologies, RESTful API and Modern JS frameworks (React JS)

Experience in an Agile environment preferred

Bachelor s Degree or equivalent

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

[Primary Function] Technical Execution

Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detail

Deliver customer value in the form of high quality software components and services in adherence with RPR policies on Security, performance, longevity and Integration testing

Estimate the size of development tasks in story points with the goal of 80% accuracy; begin to challenge others during estimation

Understand and follow coding conventions, architectures, and best practices

Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes

Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, no regressions, bug fixes, documentation and adhere to best coding practices

Perform peer code reviews in order to ensure quality standards.
