Supply Chain Analyst

Role & responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Data Reporting:

• Help develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track supply chain performance, including key metrics like on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management to inform decision-making and highlight areas for improvement in the supply chain.

2. Operational Optimization:

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies or areas of improvement, providing support in the implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist with initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain operations, including process improvements and cost reduction strategies.

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, and operations to ensure smooth data flow and accurate interpretation of analytics.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring that data insights are easily understood and applied in decision-making.

4. Project Support & Execution:

• Support senior management in executing key projects aimed at improving supply chain performance and aligning operations with organizational goals.
• Participate in supply chain transformation and optimization projects, ensuring data is leveraged effectively for continuous improvement.

5. Data Analytics Support:

• Assist in analyzing key supply chain metrics using business intelligence and data analytics tools to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Support the generation of data-driven recommendations to enhance decision-making, optimize performance, and streamline supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, procurement, logistics) to assist in integrating data insights into their daily operations and workflows, ensuring actionable outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: A bachelors degree in business administration or supply chain management.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in supply chain analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics, ideally in a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Data Analytics Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or data analytics platforms.
• Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of basic supply chain operations (e.g., procurement, logistics, inventory management).
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and offer solutions that enhance supply chain operations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and explain data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage and support multiple tasks, ensuring timely delivery of data-driven projects
