Agro Industry - Marketing Manager/ BDM/ Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
• Manage and expand the distribution network for agro products.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns to increase product awareness and sales.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and farmers.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance to develop strategies for improvement.
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Train and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
• Ensure product availability and visibility at retail outlets.
• Coordinate with production and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Develop new ideas to stay ahead of competitors in the market.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on sales performance and market trends.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products and network with potential clients.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the agro products industry.
• Strong understanding of market research and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel as extensively.

Languages : Kannada Mandatory
