Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development:
    • Promote and sell construction chemicals such as adhesives, sealants, concrete additives, waterproofing materials, etc., to retailers and contractors.
    • Generate new sales opportunities and expand the customer base through retail channels.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the company.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and contractors.
    • Provide technical advice and product recommendations based on customer needs.
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve product issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge & Training:
    • Stay up-to-date with product features, technical specifications, and industry trends.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for retail staff and customers on proper product application and usage.
  • Market Research & Reporting:
    • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and improve sales strategies.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions to management.
  • Promotions & Campaigns:
    • Support marketing initiatives by coordinating promotional activities, discounts, and special offers.
    • Help design and execute in-store promotions and ensure product visibility.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Identify customer challenges or objections and provide effective solutions.
    • Work with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction chemicals, building materials, or related industries.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers and partners.
    • Solid understanding of construction chemicals and their applications.
    • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain complex product details.
    • Sales-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Other:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Ability to travel as required to meet customers, visit retail locations, and attend industry events.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, with some travel required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
