Business Development manager

Role & responsibilities

- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.

- Develop and implement strategies to secure projects in the social sector.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation, including cold calling and physical visits.

- Build and maintain relationships with donors, grant-makers, and other funding organizations.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and proposals that meet client needs.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.

- Develop and manage sales pipelines and forecasts.

- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

- Prepare and submit grant proposals and fundraising reports.

Preferred candidate profile

- MBA/PGDM in business, marketing, social sector.

- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, CSR fundraising.

- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, closing deals, and securing funding.

- Strong network of contacts and relationships in the industry.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
