Node Js Developer

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Back End Developer at Astria Digital. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with back-end web/software development using Node.js, MongoDB, AWS Lambda, and object-oriented programming (OOP). This role is based in Bengaluru with the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Develop server-side logic using Node.js.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Integrate data storage solutions such as databases (NoSQL).
• Performance tuning, improvement, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Work with WebSockets to enable real-time communication features.
• Utilize NLP libraries for Node.js to enhance application functionalities.
• Leverage TypeScript for scalable and robust development.

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of strong proficiency with Node.js frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with WebSocket implementation.
• Familiarity with NLP libraries for Node.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Team-leading skills.
• Knowledge of React (added advantage).
• Familiarity with LangChain.js and vector databases (added advantage).
