Assistant Manager - Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new suppliers based on Supplier Questionnaire data.
• Verify Purchase Requests for assets, consumables, components, and services, conduct vendor comparisons, and finalize selections.
• Manage multiple projects, maintain separate MIS for each, and publish updates weekly.
• Coordinate with Logistics and third-party agents for timely material delivery and customs clearance.
• Liaise with Finance for advance and credit payments to domestic and international vendors.
• Work with Stores to ensure timely receipt of materials and resolve documentation or quantity discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, and Stores for rejection handling, replacements, and RMA processes.
• Identify and develop dedicated and alternate suppliers for cost, lead time, quality, and commercial benefits.
• Manage RFQs for BOM costing in response to new marketing inquiries.
• Oversee procurement functions in SAP.
• Handle AMCs and NDAs with service providers.
• Knowledge of ESD, EHS, AS9100D, IATF, ISMS, and QMS systems is an advantage.
