Design Engineer Associate

• Assist in creating/modifying 2D/3D drawings Models in SolidWorks.
• Work on ECRs/ECNs, create complete and accurate drawing packages within assigned time
• Provides support to design or improves basic components and products with a basic understanding of design tools and methods.
• Optimizes basic components and products with a basic understanding of analysis methods.
• Assists in solving basic problems with an aptitude for basic problem solving skills.
• Support in creating design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets etc
• Communicate effectively and professionally with cross functional teams and customers.
• PIM: Study different product catalogue and provide details to IT team
• Developing CAD files for customers
• Develop outline drawings for customer approval
• Execute Orders by using DDM Oracle software

• bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed college with good academic record.
• Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in designing any industrial products like Bearing, Couplings, gearboxes, pumps, Material handling equipment or machine tools.

• Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Proficient in 3D Modelling and 2D drafting with any of below CAD tool/tools

• 2D - AutoCAD/Draftsight
• 3D - SolidWorks

• Knowledge of GDT, drafting standards.
• Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency.
• Competent in Microsoft computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
• SAP knowledge will add advantage.
