Job Description
- Design and develop new MIS reports to assist the business in decision making
- To analyse product and client level profitability
- Drive ad hoc projects for system implementations, automations
- Create data models to assess new products/ inorganic opportunities
- Assisting with the strategic plans, annual budgeting exercise and forecasts
- Develop and design new MIS reports for any new product or business lines
- Do a deep dive and ad hoc analysis to support business finance
- Coordinating and preparing fortnightly / monthly financial performance reports
- Drive projects for system implementations from a Finance perspective
- Use cost allocation methodologies to analyse product and client level profitability
- Coordinate within Finance to formulate annual and ad-hoc strategy to drive cost optimisation, operational efficiency and provide new ideas including Monitoring.
- Creating scalability and efficiency through streamlining and automating reporting processes
- Prepare data models to support new products/ strategic projects
- 10-12 years experience in commercial banks preferably in Finance Division
- Understand Banking Operations and undertaken MIS, projects, control, and governance related tasks.
- Exposure in stakeholder management including Senior Management
- Data presentation and communication skills
- Delivery with quick turnaround time
- Relationship Building
- CA and / or
- MBA Finance from Premier Institutions
- Good knowledge of accounting systems in financial institutions
- Strategic thinking ability
- Analytical mindset
- Control mindset
- Business Partnership
- Exposure in Banking sector with an understanding of Corporate, Retail banking and Treasury
- Very good communication and influencing skills
- Ability to think out of the box
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in specific)
- Exposure on Dashboarding tools like QlikView, Power BI or Tableau
- Market Intelligence
- Team player and at the same time able to independently manage his own tasks
- Proactive, accurate, accountable with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong Working relationship with all units including within Finance and Regional counterparts
- Close partnership with stakeholders in new initiatives
