Sr. Engineer/Assistant Manager- Purchase (SCM)

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of Procurement & Price Variance MIS. (Including Related variance analysis)
• Preparing & maintaining the data for UIL Steel Index Mis.
• Custodian for preparation of Inflation Mis at group level.
• Preparation of AR Summary MIS at Group level.
• Responsible for maintaining and preparing > 180 Days inventory Mis.
• COPQ MIS for Quality at group level.
• Responsible for consolidating & summarizing group SDAP for management review. (Including all the different vertical parameters: Quality, Sales, BD, AR, Inventory, Cost Saving) at group level.
• Responsible for tracking the cost saving projects & data at group level for management review.
• Responsible for preparation of purchase budget & all related analysis involved.
• Responsible for maintaining new business data across group level, its tracking & all the related analysis for management. (Including: Tracking Base Data & Mis Preparation from Anaplan.)
• Responsible for all day-to-day related data preparation and related analysis for management.
• Responsible for updation of Grade, Over & MIS Steel Categories & Purchase Budget Price in ERP.
• Also providing data analysis support to Quality & Sales heads across group level (Including development of new mis formats as per their requirement).
• Supporting FP&A and BD team in terms of Data preparation and related analysis. (Past years sales data analysis & Budget related data work)
• Consolidating the RM requirement.
• Getting commercial quotes for items required
• Constant discussion with market /suppliers for price change -RM
• Preparing PB for validation and approval
• Support for centralize activities in the SCM domain.
• Prices should be made available for the items in the system as per validity
• Developing new supply base with cost-effective proposals
• Support in central activities in SCM domain
