Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - US Healthcare RCM Domain

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager in Medical Billing with 6-10 years of expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) management, Eligibility Verification, Denial Management, and Prior Authorization. The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure efficient billing operations, maximize revenue, and maintain compliance with US healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee AR processes to ensure timely collection and resolution of outstanding accounts.
• Eligibility Verification: Supervise the verification of patient insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing.
• Denial Management: Lead efforts to analyze, appeal, and resolve denied claims to optimize reimbursement.
• Prior Authorization: Manage the prior authorization process to ensure necessary approvals are obtained for services rendered.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise billing staff to achieve departmental goals.
• Compliance: Ensure all billing activities comply with HIPAA and other relevant US healthcare regulations.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on billing activities, AR status, and denial trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in medical billing, with a focus on AR management, eligibility verification, denial management, and prior authorization.
• Strong understanding of US healthcare billing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
